Pope Francis Called Gay Adoption A Form Of Discrimination Against Children

"Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Buenos Aires, Argentina, has been elected the new pope and will now be known as Pope Francis.

Bergoglio is seen an unwaveringly orthodox on matters of sexual morality, staunchly opposing abortion, same-sex marriage, and contraception. In 2010 he asserted that gay adoption is a form of discrimination against children." Full story here!

Let me see if I've got this straight - THE MOST VULGAR example of wealth, in the entire world, has taken the name of the patron saint of the poor. WOW! This ought to be interesting seeing as how he also took a vow of poverty some years ago.
Also I remember reading somewhere that Jorgey was accused of being suspected of being involved in the kidnapping of two priests in Buenos Aires. I'm sure that will be spun somehow by the vatican.
Catholicks can be such an odd cult sometimes.

Ok, as a gay man, I don't agree with what Pope Francis has said with regards to same sex adoption, but is it really that shocking that he did say it to have blogged about it right after he was elected? The Catholic Church has, urgently does, and probably always will consider homosexuality as a sin, and the High ranking officials in the Church will have to publicly speak out against it! It doesn't mean they're right ya know! I mean We all know how amazing it is to be Gay! The man just became Pope a few days ago! Let him enjoy his moment before attacking him for his beliefs! Not everyone is gonna have the same beliefs as you, and it doesn't mean they're wrong for it either!
