I hate the racist "N" word. It disgusts me and I lose all respect for someone the instant I hear them say or write it.

Faggot is right up there as well as a word I hate. It can be so very hurtful when directed by someone at yourself.

"Needless to say". People use this phrase then go on saying what they just stated was "needless to say".

"Sick" meaning something other than gross/disgusting or to be physically ill. It just sounds so lame.

When someone uses the term 'alternative lifestyle' to blanketly describe me or any other LGBT person. I find it used often as term to politley denigrate our humanity. I find it more insidious than faggot.

"Can I be honest with you?". Oh, I get it, otherwise I should assume you are always LYING to me?.....Probably age related - the expression is "May I be CANDID with you."

Geesh, I guess I am getting old!!!

"Fine".
"Me and my (who ever, friend, son, etc.)". NO, NO, NO
It's "My (who ever) and I, went to ......."
Lay. Vs. Lie. A chicken lays an egg and one lies on the bed.

Saying something was "hysterical" when they mean "hilarious."

I hate the words "signage" and "hellacious" because in the first place, both are superfluous. There is no situation where "signs" could not be used where "signage" is used. As for "hellacious," the adjective for something that is hell-like is "hellish" and is a perfectly good word. Logically, "hellacious" should be the adjective form of the word "hellacy" just as "fallacious" is the adjective form of the noun "fallacy."

If I never hear the words "at the end of the day" it will be too soon.

The over use of "In Honor" when they mean "In Memory"

Also, the blanket use of "Coward" to describe any bad guy.

I'mma... Popularized by Kanye West at the Grammys. Sorry, but if you're so lazy that you can't say "I'm going to" or even "I'm gonna". don't bother me.
