The Davis and Crawford classic " Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" Almost every line uttered out of their mouths is memorable and pure camp! "Blanche, did cha know we gut rats in the cella' ?"
"Moonstruck" for Nicolas Cage and the fact that I'm Italian-American; "Welcome to Woop Woop" for a cult film and for sexy Johnathon Schaech; and "My Cousin Vinny" for Marissa Tomei - making fun of Joe Pesci's hunting wardrobe:"Imagine you’re a deer. You’re prancing along. You get thirsty. You spot a little brook. You put your little deer lips down to the cool, clear water. BAM! A fuckin’ bullet rips off part of your head! Your brains are laying on the ground in little bloody pieces! Now I ask you: Would you give a fuck what kind of pants the son of a bitch who shot you was wearing?!" –Mona Lisa Vito (Oscar winner Marisa Tomei) in My Cousin Vinny
Notting Hill... it's magic and after moving to London a few years ago... quite by total coincidence I bought a flat only a few streets over from Portobello Road (street with book shop and blue doored house in film).
Its a tie between Shakespeare in Love and Murder on the Orient Express. Both period pieces with amazing casts. Such good stuff. When I was young my family took a ship to Okinawa. This was way before DVDs and VCRs. The ship had one movie aboard. I saw West Side Story 27 times. Yes, I know ALL the words and lyrics. Its still one of my favorites.
Wow, hard question as I have soo many favorites and most of them offer many memorable quotes. Just off the top of my head: The Godfather Trilogy, The Cain Mutiny, A Few Good Men, Casablanca, The Day the Earth Stood Still. When I'm in touch with my feminine side: Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias, Under the Tuscan Sun and Delores Claiborne.
