Why just one? I suppose it would be the power of persuasion because I'd like to be able to convince this guy that his life is meaningless without me in it.
Of course I would use this power only for purposes of good and for getting laid.
I think I'd like to be Heimdall, the guardian of the Bifrost entry into Asgard. Anyone needing to enter would need to beg, and frankly the image of Thor begging on his knees is quite appealing to me.
I have always wanted the power to be able to commune with nature, like Poison Ivy sort of powers. I don't like to use the word control mainly because trying to control nature generally leads to some big problems. You never have to worry about food, you can help the environment, never have to buy flowers... Oh, and of course those pheremones that make men very... suggestible..? I'd be the exquisite (though I'd prefer sumptuous) Nature Boy! *da da daaaa*

Telekinesis. It has lots of practical applications plus I could fly.

To be able to speak any language fluently.

Either the ability to freeze time (like from that tv show Out of This World)

The power to grant myself wishes, genie-style. Then, I could have looks, riches, AND whatever superpowers I wanted!
I want the power of the Q...the ability to do anything, anywhere, anytime. ;)
I choose telekinesis, too. Good in offense and in defense. It can be used to attack, or to deflect(like a shield).
Confidence. It's the most powerful thing one can have in this world.
Wait...maybe inner peace.
