Question of the Day...

If you had the amazing ability to cure just one VERY specific disease that exists today, what would you pick and why?

I will have to say obesity as well! I was obese through out my childhood till my mid 20s and it was horrible.

I was bullied, picked and teased about my weight. Then being part of the gay community didn't help, we can be a very superficial group!

Luckily I've lost the weight, but I can't lose the memories.

So yeah, I if could I would do away with obesity as well.

Rett syndrome. This could also have ties to traumatic brain issues, cystic fibrosis and multiple sclerosis.

Rett syndrome affects the life of my friend Kimberly. She can barely make vocalizations, has severe seizure activity, and lots of other issues. Advances have come in her disease and getting closer to the answer. But a someone so close to my heart, she is the one I want to have a happy healthy life.

Is ignorance a disease? if so, I'd cure that.

I would have to say cancer, however, if that is not specific enough then it would be heart disease/stroke.

Conservatism. Getting rid of that would open doors more research to eliminate many others
