In the wake of the San Francisco 49ers It Gets Better video, news has surfaced of Major League Baseball pitchers taking a stance for marriage equality by posing by themselves and their families for the California based NOH8 Campaign. Three-time-All-Star and World Champion Matt Cain from the San Francisco Giants, Mat Latos of the Cincinnati Reds, and 2010 National League Silver Slugger winner Yovani Gallardo for the Milwaukee Brewers are the first current Major Leaguers to lend their faces to marriage equality. As much as I am NOT a Mat Latos fan, I have to give him total props for taking part in the No H8 campaign. I might not like you as a ball player, but I respect you as a person. Thanks for speaking up!
