Today, Romney rolled out his choice- or at least his base’s choice- to be Vice President...Paul Ryan.
Ryan has voted twice to enshrine marriage bigotry into the United States Constitution even though he did vote in favor of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. Still, he voted against the Matthew Shepard Act which enforces federal penalties for homophobic and racist hate crimes. He also voted against adoption rights for lesbians and gays in Washington, DC. He is an ardently anti-woman candidate voting against women’s right consistently.
The Romney Ryan Plan...they plan on raising taxes on the Middle Class, lowering them on the Upper Class, and cutting social programs for the Lower Classes. (Source)
WGB: Not a great combo for the GLBT community, for women, and for the average American. The fact that they are one attractive package is not lost on me and actually worries me. I can see thousands of people voting simply on the "cute" factor. This is a sad and true fact.

The comment on tax policy is being re-iterated everywhere but really isn't true.
The rest of it sucks though (i.e. Matthew Shepard Act).
I believe your last comment is 1 reason why he chose Ryan. Because some Americans are stupid enough to vote for that reason. America loves the "cute" factor in anything. He is cute so therefore he must be good. Let John Edwards be your lesson America "cute" doesn't make you good. If those 2 fools win, we all lose! That simple.

In case it was ever in doubt, what is truly at stake in this election was made even clearer today by the selection of Congressman Ryan as the Republican Vice-Presidential nominee. Congressman Ryan was the chief architect of a budget that would decimate education funding and end Medicare. He and Governor Romney believe that each and every one of us is on his or her own, and that government has no role to play in making a better future for the next generation. We know better - that government does have a role to play, not in solving every problem in every person's life, but in helping people help themselves. The very character of our nation, and the American Dream itself, are at stake in this election - let's stand up and show that it is worth fighting for.
We should all at least be thankful that his pick was not Santorum, Gingrich, or Bachman. Of course, if one of them had been, even the most conservative of gay voters would lean toward Obama.
And I will 'fess up that I'd sleep with Ryan in a heart beat.
I'm trying to think of a pro gay rights democrat politician who is as hot looking as Paul Ryan and cannot think of one. can anybody suggest one?
To be forever remembered as the bishop and the brown-noser.
We need to constantly remind people that romney IS a mormon bishop. A mormon appointed bishop is a bishop for life.
