I'd go for a circle of San Fran, NY, Boston, Atl, Lauderdale, Disney, Chi, Ptown, Sydney, San Palo, London, Paris, Mykonos, Vancouver with a huge park with lakes in the middle.
I would move my little midwestern college town across the bay from San Francisco so I could see my Giants play more than twice a year. I'd choose to put it in Marin instead of Alameda County, though. We'd fit in better there. =)

Boston and Amsterdam. A brick paradise of very direct people, married homos, and good classical music.
