I've been a long time visitor... lurker, never commenting. But I have to ask...
David... Is there anything we, your fans, can do to convince you to keep the site up? I respectfully ask. As you can see, you've managed to connect with many many good people here, not an easy thing with many sites. Even if it meant a lessened schedule of posting, as a last resort?
Again, no disrespect meant for your decision. Just selfishly trying to hold unto something, someone, that has been, and is good for our community.

HI David, Thank you for the years of WGB..it has been part of my daily ritual for so long...I sure will miss this. Best to you...hope to see you again in the blogasphere
I can only agree violently with the previous posters - your site will very much be missed. I too became a daily reader/viewer (both words are appropriate given some of the very hot graphics!).
But change is constant...all best in future endeavors and probably some very much needed time off.
And do enjoy the trip to Chicago...the Crab Shack is nice but "wicked" expensive. I'd suggest the Weber Grill near Nordstrom's. Great food, awesome ginger/peach mojitos and steak/shrimp beyond belief!!

Im going to miss WGB so much, I felt it kept me connected in the gay world as I grow older, not going to clubs and bars like I use too, We had a lot in common, regarding famous people, old/new music, stories that concerned me and us in the media. I feel like im losing a good friend who is moving away. But I respect your decision! Good Luck!

Of all the gay blogs yours the cleanest design, the easiest to read, the most interesting.
Perhaps, David, you could put together a short list of your favorite blogs to pass along to us.
And why not take your favorite posts from WGB and create a small art book?
