THE END IS NEAR......

No I am not talking about Armageddon...lol, I am simply talking about the time has come for me to end the blog. I plan on doing my last post on April 30th since I have some advertiser obligations until that date that I want to honor.

That being said, I am still going to have fun posting each day until that day. It has been almost 6 years and it has been an amazing ride and I have been blessed to meet so many amazing people in person and online.

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being on this incredible journey with me. I will never forget your comments, e-mails, and kind words. Never.

In Pride,

David

You have a great mix of news and eye candy, and a unique editorial style. Isn't there some way to maybe hand off to someone else? I know how hard it is to clone an editorial style, but still, isn't there anyone you could ask to give it a try?

I hate to see this blog end.

What a sad piece of news...I read this after the LA Times, NY Times, Huffington Post, Le Monde and then WGB. It has been done with taste, intelligence, wit and an eye towards beauty. In my world it is the BEST gay blog. I cant imagine it not offering an intelligent take on life with a gay hue. Very sad,,,but I hope you are happy, will be happy and enjoy life. Well as a new Bostonian, I can sure say I'm gonna miss you. I love this blog. Loved the questions of the day and usually used them as conversation starters. Loved the "just because" men because... well just because.
Best of luck in all you do. You'll be missed.

I am from NYC and I check your blog at twice a day. If that right there does not get you to change your mind I don't think anything will. Even though I very much dislike the use of this word "Wicked" (And a number of other words used by certain people), this blog right here is wicked awesome!

You were part of the fabric of my gay being and I salute you.

Sadness rains this day. Your blog is far and away my favorite. The only one I check with any regularity. As so many have said, it is a great mix of everything gay or that can affect our community in a positive or negative way. All delivered with taste and panache. Where else can one find, or say, it WICKED cool. You'll be missed, David. Best wishes to you.

Aww man, this is sad news, esp. more so when reading on a Monday. I've grown so accustomed to reading WGB on a daily basis, and finding a replacement is going to be a major challenge. It's true that looking for hot photos on gay blogs is not difficult, but to come across a blog like yours filled with intelligence, eye candies, honest opinions, and more, is definitely going to be hard. That said, thanks so much for what you've done with this blog, and all the best in whatever you have in store for life ;).

Cheers!

As much as I tell myself "change is good" I'd be less than honest if I didn't let you know that - for me - your online departure message is a bit of sad news. I doubt that I'm unique in the sense that one spends countless hours finding that online home and your wicked gay blog has definitely been home these past few years. Thanks is simply not enough to let you know how you produced and shared an absolute premiere blog filled with sensual yet provactive images and words. And with your daily stroke of whimsical fantasy you definitely understand the online appetite of your audience. So June 1st this Internet peeping Tom will begin another search for a new online home I can only wish all the best the future has in store for you and yours.
A job well done.
