Manhunt’s New Ad Campaign Causing Quite the Stir (and not the good kind!)
"We received dozens of complaints about the campaign here at Manhunt HQ in Boston, as did our ad agency, Lamar Advertising. Citizens were reportedly concerned about children being able to view our billboards. One annoyed parent even wrote an online op-ed piece last week claiming that her complaints got our ads taken down (actually, our LA campaign expired as scheduled on 11/20/11)." Obama Fundraiser To Celebrate New York Gay Marriage Law
The Wednesday event in New York City is being billed as a “small reception to celebrate the progress in the LGBT community” and is the first time Obama has attended a gay fundraiser in New York since lawmakers approved a gay marriage law in June. Five additional states – Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and Iowa – and the District of Columbia allow gay and lesbian couples to marry." Full story here!

David Pocock Says He Won't Marry Until Gay Marriage Is Legal In Australia
Pocock, the 23-year-old Western Force and Wallabies openside flanker, told The Sun-Herald Extra that he and his fiancee Emma Palandri won't wed until their gay friends can.
“More than 60 per cent of Australians are in favor of same-sex marriage, so it just doesn't make sense to stop it from happening,” Pocock said. “For a lot of Christians, it's a big issue and I know there's a lot of people who don't share the same opinion as me.
