Michael Jackson's Children Aren't His Biologically

With more pictures emerging of Michael Jackson's children, people have increasingly been wondering why they don't seem to resemble their father. TMZ claims that this is because the late King of Pop was not the sperm donor used to conceive the children via in vitro.
In addition, the site also says that Debbie Rowe was just the surrogate in the process because her eggs weren't used to conceive the children. This, of course, refers to the two eldest children left behind by the passing of their father, Michael. (Continue Reading-Source/Socialite Life)

Angelou to advocate gay marriage in Chicago

The New York Times reports that Angelou has been lobbying for same-sex marriage in New York state, calling three state senators to ask them to change their mind on gay marriage.
"I would ask every man and every woman who’s had the blessing of having children, ’Would you deny your son or your daughter the ecstasy of finding someone to love?’" she told The Times. "To love someone takes a lot of courage. So how much more is one challenged when the love is of the same sex and the laws say, ’I forbid you from loving this person’?" Angelou told the Times she believed society made gay relationships hard enough, without the additional problem of not allowing them to be legal.
Empire State Pride Agenda helped arrange for Angelou’s participation, along with lesbian actor Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City) and former pro football commissioner Paul Tagliabue, who has a gay son. (Continue Reading-Source/Edge)
L.A. Schools Chief Outraged Over ’Bruno’ Photo With Football Squad

The chief of the nation’s second-largest school district is fuming over comedian Sacha Baron Cohen’s magazine photo shoot with high school football players.
Los Angeles Superintendent Ramon Cortines isn’t amused by the GQ magazine photos shot at Birmingham High School that feature the "Borat" star in his new incarnation as gay Austrian fashionista "Bruno."
The GQ cover story features pictures of Baron Cohen wearing shoulder pads, tight red shorts, an athletic cup and little else as he poses with football players at the school in the San Fernando Valley.
Cortines says the district has "allowed our students to be used." Local district superintendent Jean Brown said she’s trying to determine who was responsible. (Source-Edge)

Some Applaud Perez’s Fall

In April, Perez Hilton started up a minor firestorm, and minted a brand-new poster-girl for the anti-gay religious right, when he called Carrie Prejean, "Miss California" in the "Miss Universe" beauty contest, a "dumb bitch" for not answering a question he posed to Prejean in his capacity as a contest judge in the manner he wanted to hear.
Earlier this month, Hilton hurled another slur--this time an anti-gay epithet--at Will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas at a music awards ceremony in Canada, resulting in the group’s manager, Polo Molina, striking the celebrity gossip and blogger.
Then Hilton insulted the memory of Michael Jackson by speculating that Jackson, who died June 26, reportedly from a heart attack, had faked his own death. (Continue Reading-Source/Edge)

Jackson wrapped video before death

Two weeks before he died, Michael Jackson wrapped up work on an elaborate production dubbed the "Dome Project" that could be the final finished video piece overseen by the King of Pop, The Associated Press has learned.
Jackson was apparently preparing to dazzle concert audiences in London with a high-tech show in which 3D images - some inspired by his "Thriller" era - would flash behind him as he performed on stage.
"It was a groundbreaking effort," said Vince Pace, whose company provided cameras for the shoot, a 3D system he created with filmmaker James Cameron.
"To think that Michael’s gone now, that’s probably the last documented footage of him to be shot in that manner," Pace said. (Continue Reading-Source/Edge)

'Gayby boom': Children of gay couples speak out

Jesse Levey is a Republican activist who says he believes in family values, small government and his lesbian mothers' right to marry.
Levey is part of the "gayby boom" generation. The 29-year-old management consultant is the son of a lesbian couple who chose to have a child through artificial insemination. He's their only child.
Critics of same-sex marriage say people such as Levey will grow up shunned and sexually confused. Yet he says he's a "well-adjusted heterosexual" whose upbringing proves that love, not gender, makes a family.
"You can imagine what my parents thought when I was 13 and listening to Rush Limbaugh everyday," Levey says. "But my family had strong family values. I was raised in a loving, caring household that let me be a free thinker." (Continue Reading-Source/CNN)

Michael Jackson's mother files petition seeking legal guardianship of her son's three children

At a press conference outside the family estate in Encino, Calif., Monday afternoon, Joe Jackson reiterated that Michael Jackson's three children belong with their grandmother, Katherine, who was awarded temporary custody earlier today. "We're the parents. This is where they belong... We're going to take care of them and give them the education they're supposed to have," he said.
This morning, Jackson family lawyer Londell McMillan said he didn't believe Debbie Rowe, the mother of Michael's two eldest, would try to separate the children from each other or Katherine, who has taken care of them since Michael's June 25 death. "Debbie Rowe has nothing to do with what we're doing," Joe said at the press conference. He also stated that memorial plans for Michael are still being worked out, and that there is no timeframe he could give the public. He said he wants the investigation into Michael's death to be completed before his son's funeral is held. (Source-EW)
