Some Applaud Perez’s Fall

In April, Perez Hilton started up a minor firestorm, and minted a brand-new poster-girl for the anti-gay religious right, when he called Carrie Prejean, "Miss California" in the "Miss Universe" beauty contest, a "dumb bitch" for not answering a question he posed to Prejean in his capacity as a contest judge in the manner he wanted to hear.

Earlier this month, Hilton hurled another slur--this time an anti-gay epithet--at Will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas at a music awards ceremony in Canada, resulting in the group’s manager, Polo Molina, striking the celebrity gossip and blogger.

Then Hilton insulted the memory of Michael Jackson by speculating that Jackson, who died June 26, reportedly from a heart attack, had faked his own death. (Continue Reading-Source/Edge)
