Dance on the Pier 23 - NYC Pride :: June 28, 2009
The Dance on the Pier was born out of a time when LGBT persons could not dance openly and proudly together, so for this reason, this official NYC LGBT Dance had a special meaning during the 40th Anniversary of Stonewall in this year’s Pride. EDGE joined the thousands of people who came to dance out and proud in the open at Pier 54 and caught Kat de Luna performing all of her great hits! Here are the pics!

The 40th anniversary of the riots that sparked the modern gay-rights movement was celebrated in style, with hundreds of thousands of people marching in New York City and millions more cheering them on.
