Via Towleroad: "President Obama hosted 250-300 LGBT leaders in the East Room of the White House today, billed as a celebration marking the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall rebellion and Pride month. We certainly would not have seen any kind of LGBT event in a McCain-Palin Whitehouse. However, let's keep in mind that Obama is quite aware of current disenchantment among the LGBT, and this is likely political gesturing on his part. We're still waiting for significant executive actions to balance his rhetoric.
